Real Estate Karma

Welcome to Real Estate Karma Blog spot.

Its no secret that the real estate market drives our economy. From the mid 90's to 2005 we've seen a dramatic expansion in real estate values, translated to personal wealth that has fueled the growth of this economy. Since late 2005 we've begun a correction in the value of real estate, not only in real dollars but in sentiment and peoples perception of the quality of real estate as their "largest investment" and "retirement fund". In other words there is a lot of BAD KARMA around real estate right now.

On this blog spot we'll dig past the general numbers and media scare tactics to understand what real estate really means to us, how the current market conditions are affecting us and our country, and discuss how real estate is an integral part of growth for our society, not just an investment or a number on our balance sheets.

I know that sounds a little touchy-feely, but hey...this is about Real Estate Karma not Real Estate Trading!
